Thoughts from our Captains

As the Allegheny softball team prepares for the 2009-10 season, we are very excited about the work we have done together during our Fall season. We hosted our annual Fall tournament October 2^nd- playing Westminster, Pitt-Greensburg, and Fredonia State. We all showed up ready to play and more importantly ready to work together as a team! This attitude led us to solid performances in all three games. We are excited to continue our hard work throughout the off-season!   

As a team, we have spent a good deal of time together this Fall both on and off the field. Team building has been the core focus of our time thus far. Building strong relationships with each other has allowed us to trust that we can count on one another. We are excited to keep improving the team bond throughout the entire season!

2009 Gator Softball Highlight Video

2009-10 Gators participate in Ropes Course

September 28, 2009 - The 2009-10 Gators traveled to Slippery Rock University to participate in an Executive Leadership Course. The evening included all team members (including the coaching staff) taking a trip down the four story Zip Line, as well as various team building exercises.The Gators learned the importance of communication, respect and teamwork from various exercises such as the spider web (above).

Of course after a hard day's work nothing like a pizza dinner to finish off the evening!
